This year the Ski Club of Great Britain AGM was hosted at 58VE and followed up by a members evening in the new White Haus bar in Farringdon where many of the club's archive items are on display.

The evening began with reports from Chairman Malcolm Bentley and Treasurer Ian Holt providing an overview of the club's accounts and happenings in the last year, this was followed by a bold presentation on the future of the Ski Club by CEO Darren Neylon, who was appointed earlier in the year.

After Q&A with those attending, proceedings moved to the White Haus where other members joined to get a first look at the new venue and see the skis, trophies, artwork and other memorabilia that had been provided by the Ski Club. Members were provided with welcome drinks and invited to sample some of the venues menu, which has an alpine twist. Beers from the alps are available on tap and the Pery room, named after ex ski club President Hon. E. C. Pery, Earl of Limerick, is available to book for parties and events.

Members attending took the chance to catch up and talk about their plans for the up coming winter season. At the event there were at least 3 lifetime members (those that had been with the Club more than 50 years!) Ski Club Leaders and Council members, a real wealth of snow sports experience.

The Club look forward to inviting members to exciting future events at White Haus, stay tuned for more information.
