The Club is pleased to announce that Trevor Campbell Davis has agreed to become interim chairman of the Club.

This allows Malcolm Bentley to step down as chairman and from Council as he wishes to do.
Members will be aware that the Club has encountered a number of challenges in the last year and Council and management have been re-assessing the strategy to restore the financial position and give a sustainable future. A number of decisions have been made with much work still to be done but now is a good time to have an interim chairman as these decisions are implemented. It also allows Council plenty of time to consider the options for a permanent chairman, who would normally be proposed to members at the AGM in November.
Trevor Campbell Davis is a long-time member of the Club and of the Alpine Club of which he is Honorary Treasurer. He is an experienced Chairman and CEO, who has held a wide range of executive and non-executive board positions in both the public and private sectors across the UK and Europe, working extensively for NHS trusts as both chairman and CEO.
