Team GB’s highest ranked female alpine skier
- Discipline(s): Slalom & Giant Slalom
- D.O.B: 5th October 1993
- Hometown: Torphins
From first stepping in to skis in North East Scotland, aged 8, Alex’s ambitions to progress in skiing were plain. Two years later, and having joined the Gordon Skiers, the young Scot competed in her first National Championships, and aged 16 she left full time education to focus entirely on reaching her skiing goals.
Carrying good momentum from the 16/17 season and following an intense summer of training, Alex has shown good consistency at the start of this season with regular shows of speed. A career best of 13th in the Giant Slalom at the Courchevel World Cup proves that the Brit is coming in to form at the perfect time for the Games.
