Having achieved a respectable 17th place in the Sochi 2014 pipe Murray has been focused on getting a second chance at the Olympics this season. Training and competing in the US through December and January he has had consistent results in the top 20s at Dew Tour and World Cup taking him closer to selection for the GB squad. Hailing from Edinburgh, Murray learned to ski on the plastic slope at Hillend, quickly matching and surpassing his older peers in the Scottish Freestyle scene. Without a pipe to train in here in the UK most of his winter is spent in the US or on the trampolines. Murray is hoping to break into the top ten at the 2018 games.
