A fall in the Sochi halfpipe the day before the Olympics began meant that Rowan had to sit out her first games even though she was already there. Thankfully the concussion healed after a few months but the mental strain of the accident took it’s toll and meant that Rowan was unable to compete for almost two years after. Overcoming the anxiety, fear and doubt, she is now in the best form of her life with top tens at World Championships and World Cup levels. Rowan is keen to get back to the Olympics to prove that she is one of the best.
