Having skied since he was 4, James was offered a place on the British Disabled Ski Team at the age of 10. Racing in Paralympic class LW5/7-3 James was born without hands and skis without poles. At age 17 he raced his first Paralympics in Sochi and having now finished school has been concentrating on his career as an athlete since. 4th overall in the Europa Cup, 5th at the World Championship for Super Combined and twice National Champion he specializes in GS and Slalom.
