Discipline(s): Snowboard LL
Owen lost his lower leg to an IED during his first tour in Afghanistan at the age of 18. With assistance from Blesma, the limbless veterans' charity, he quickly found a passion for wakeboarding and snowboarding. Less than 18 months after his first go on a snowboard Owen won a silver medal at the French National adaptive SBX championships. Following on from that he has had top tens at the Winter X Games, a bronze at World Cup level and is now ranked 7th in the world.
