ON SNOW EXPERIENCE
During this holiday, you’ll spend six full days skiing with mountain guides. This trip is aimed at Advanced (Purple) to Expert (Gold) off piste skiers. If you are unsure of your ski level, please see our Ski Profile Page. At the end of the week, you will receive an updated grading from your Guide or Ski Club Rep.
You will be staying at the comfortable 4* Hotel Mirella on a half board basis. The hotel is beautifully set alongside the river Oglio, with spectacular mountain views from the communal spaces and many of the bedrooms. Your stay includes access to a wellness centre, featuring a hot tub, spa and sauna. The restaurant offers a fantastic range of traditional Italian and Alpine food, as well as an impressive range of pastries baked on site served as part of the breakfast buffet.
This holiday includes both your flights and transfer. The flights are with British Airways and depart from London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5. Ski Carriage is payable at the airport only and cannot be pre-booked. Your Ski Club Rep will coordinate the coach transfer from Milan Linate Airport, so please look out for them in the main arrivals hall, they will be wearing their blue Ski Club jacket. Transfers to and from resort will take approximately two and a half hours.
If these arrangements are not convenient you may be eligible to organise your own travel and receive a nominal discount from the holiday cost. Furthermore, if you can find alternative flights that coincide with our flight times then you can meet the group at Milan Linate and take our transfers to resort. Please contact the Freshtracks office on 020 8410 2022 in order to discuss this further.
Ponte di Lengo is an attractive, sheltered alternative to neighbouring resort of Passo Tonale, just a short distance down the valley. With a significant vertical descent and access to the Presena glacier, it offers an impressively long season. It is linked to it's larger neighbour via both gondola, giving access to 380km of marked runs as well as an impressive range of off piste. For more information on Ponte di Legno, please visit the Ponte di Legno Resort Guide.
If you require equipment hire, we suggest booking with Zani Brenta. The shop is situated approximately 3 km below Ponte di Legno but Andrea has suggested it to be the best shop for off piste and touring equipment in the area. To pre-book please email them directly on firstname.lastname@example.org
