ON SNOW EXPERIENCE
During this trip, you'll spend six full days with mountain guides. You’ll be split into groups of 6/7 based on your ski profile. This trip is aimed at Advanced (Purple) and Expert (Gold) off piste skiers. If you are unsure of your ski level please see our on the website. At the end of the week, you will receive an updated grading from your Instructor or Ski Club Rep.
In the shadow of Monte Rosa you’ll be staying 7 nights half board at the in twin share accommodation. The hotel is only 300m from the ski lifts and is therefore a fantastic base from which to explore the area’s terrain and to satisfy your needs when it comes to a full days skiing. With a warm welcome and authentic Italian charm you can rest assured you'll be well rested, and ready to start again the following day.
This holiday includes both your flights and transfers. The flights are with British Airways from London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 to Milan Linate. Ski carriage is payable at the airport only and cannot be pre-booked. Your Ski Club Rep will coordinate the coach transfer from the airport, so please look out for them in the main arrivals hall – they will be wearing their blue Ski Club jacket. Transfers to and from resort will take approximately 2 - 3 hours.
The Monterosa ski area is nestled in the heart of the Italian Alps and is made up of the three principal resorts of Alagna, Gressoney and Champoluc, all traditional and charming villages.
Above Alagna you will find some great tree runs but as you rise above the tree line, the slopes open out to wide powder fields waiting to be explored. As the off piste in Alagna is a little bit of a local secret, the area is slightly trickier to navigate, making your local mountain guide's knowledge invaluable. For more information, please read the Alagna Resort Guide.
For ski and/or boot hire, Sport Haus is located next to the main lift station. They stock a good range of high quality off-piste equipment and offer a discount to Ski Club members.
