ON SNOW EXPERIENCE
During this trip, you’ll spend six days skiing with instructors. This trip is aimed at Advanced Intermediate (Silver) and Advanced (Purple) on piste skiers. On this trip you’ll get to explore the whole mountain, skiing both on and off piste throughout the week. If you are unsure of your ski level, please see our Ski Profile Page. At the end of the week, you’ll receive an updated grading from your Instructor or Ski Club Rep.
Five yoga sessions with a local and very experienced yoga instructor Mariza are included within the holiday. The sessions will take place in the chalet, either in the morning or evening throughout the week. No yoga experience is necessary, this is for everyone.
You’ll get the chance to stay in our fantastic new chalet on this trip, located right at the foot of the new gondola heading up to the slopes of Flégère. Accommodation is provided on a chalet board basis, with delicious breakfasts, tasty afternoon teas and fantastic three course meals all included. For this week you can expect a well-rounded menu that is nutritionally balanced, wholesome, healthy and delicious, fuelling our guests for the slopes and giving you a pleasurable experience! The chalet staff have two nights off, giving you the chance to explore the excellent restaurants located throughout the valley.
The Chalet is located in Les Praz, a very pretty village outside Chamonix. The village is surrounded by forests and streams, there are also some good bars, restaurants and a cute village shop. The church is the hallmark of Les Praz with a classic interior and stained-glass windows. Les Praz has a traditional village feel and is at the base of the Flegere ski lift. Les Praz is only five minutes from the center of Chamonix by car or ten minutes by bus. If you enjoy walking Chamonix is a pleasant 20-30-minute stroll via the woodland paths or a quiet road. Everything you need for a great week.
Travel is not included. Please note that due to strict changeover times for the chalet staff, on your arrival day you will not have access to the chalet until 16:00, and on your departure day you must leave by 10:00.
The Chamonix lift system consists of several distinct and very different ski areas high above a steep-sided valley where the town and its villages are located. From one day to the next you can explore the resort’s different ski areas: Brévent & Flégère, Les Grands Montets, Le Tour & Vallorcine (Domaine de Balme), L'Aiguille du Midi/La Vallée Blanche and Les Houches. And if that isn’t enough, the Chamonix Mont Blanc lift pass extends over to Courmayeur and even Verbier!
Accessing all these different areas could prove a challenge if it wasn’t for our minibus which will ferry you around. Fortunately it means there is no need to check bus times and walk to and from stops and lifts - we’ll collect you from the chalet door and take you straight to whichever area you’re skiing that day! For more information on Chamonix, please visit the Chamonix Resort Page.
The best shop to hire from is the Concept Pro Shop Chamonix, which is located behind the Aiguille du Midi. They offer a 10% discount to our members and have a great selection of equipment.
