ON SNOW EXPERIENCE
Starting on Sunday evening, the course consists of an unguided warm up day to find your ski legs and let you look at the conditions. The format for the first 3 days is morning classroom sessions followed by time on the mountain. The last 2 days will be full days out developing the practical decision-making tools that will help you find the best snow and ski it safely.
The new Chamonix Freshtracks Chalet based near the Flégère cable car.
Travel is not included, please see the independent travel document for transfer details. We recommend traveling to Geneva as this is one of the closest airports, for further information and the itinerary please contact the Freshtrack team on 020 8410 2022.
The Chamonix lift system consists of several distinct and very different ski areas high above a steep-sided valley where the town and its villages are located. From one day to the next you can explore the resort’s different ski areas: Brévent & Flégère, Les Grands Montets, Le Tour & Vallorcine (Domaine de Balme), L'Aiguille du Midi/La Vallée Blanche and Les Houches. And if that wasn’t enough, the Chamonix MontBlanc lift pass extends over to Courmayeur and even Verbier! All these different areas could prove a challenge if it wasn’t for our minibus to ferry you around. So no need to check bus times and walk to and from stops and lifts - we’ll collect you from the chalet door and take you straight to whichever area you’re skiing that day! For more information on Chamonix, please visit the Chamonix Resort Page.
The best shop to hire from is the Concept Pro Shop Chamonix, which is located behind the Aiguille du Midi. They offer a 10% discount to our members and have a great array of equipment.
