ON SNOW EXPERIENCE
Instruction is provided for 6 full days by Alex Chapman and team who have developed an enthusiastic following thanks to their excellent and engaging instruction. Riding the Jandri Express gondola from the centre of town, as the lift pops over the ridge, the glacier opens before your eyes, and the off piste possibilities of the resort become apparent. And the legendary La Grave is just a stones throw away. This trip is aimed at SP__ skiers who are ready to raise their game for off piste skiing, if you are unsure of your skiing level or need to double check please look at our Ski Profile Page.
Staying in Mark Warner’s functional Chalethotel Bérangère guests will enjoy their own room and ski in ski out location. The lobby offers a great place to relax in the evenings, with seats around the real fire. For those wanting to recover tired muscles, there is a sauna, steam room and heated indoor pool.
Flights and transfers are included with ski carriage limited and only available if pre booked through Ski Club Freshtracks. The group coach transfer will be organised by the Mark Warner hosts, please look out for them in the arrivals hall at Grenoble.
Off slope activities are lively, with a well-deserved reputation as having some of the best après options in France, with bars, clubs and restaurants stretched out over the 2km stretch of town. The resort is specifically built within the two slopes, with access across to La Grave if required. This is a very sunny resort which keeps the cold at bay, therefore the gentle blues on the glacier are a good option on the way back to the chalet.
There is an Intersport hire shop (named Val d'Oisans) a short walk from the hotel, which if pre-booked online can offer a discount. Alternatively, SkiSet via our website, offer discounts but are located further into the main town, involving carrying equipment back to hotel.
