ON SNOW EXPERIENCE
The holiday includes 6 full days with local instructors and is aimed at Advanced (Purple) and Expert (Gold) skiers - for more information see our Ski Profile Page. You should be prepared to get further off the beaten track in search of good snow either boot packing or skinning (possibly both) so a good level of fitness is essential. The day to day programme will be determined by the instructor each morning depending on snow and weather conditions.
ACCOMMODATION AND TRAVEL
The travel and accommodation package is provided by Skiworld and includes flights from London Gatwick, coach transfers and 7 nights accommodation in their Chalet Hotel Aigle on a single occupancy basis. Chalet board is breakfast and afternoon tea daily with a three course evening meal provided on five nights. Wine is included with your meal. There are no regional options at this time of year as all the charters have finished, however if you would prefer to make your own way to resort and meet the group there, you will be eligible for a £50 discount.
Tignes shares the huge Espace Killy ski area with its neighbouring resort Val d'Isère. Between the two, there are 300km of pistes for all abilities, from long gentle greens to some seriously steep off piste. Tignes has a laid back and friendly atmosphere with a lively après scene. For more information on Tignes, please visit the Ski Club’s in depth and recently updated Tignes Resort Guide.
