Flaine is famous for its excellent off piste terrain that suits skiers of all abilities. Spend a week with your off piste instructors who will show you the best that Flaine has to offer. The team have been skiing here off piste every day each winter for years and know exactly where to find the best snow at any time. This week is for RED+/SILVER off piste skiers so you will already know what you are doing and be ready to get some great turns in but there's always much to learn and your technique will be examined, tweaked and perfected. So for any questions you have about your stance, balance and general skill set the team are there to answer. This is a very rewarding and exciting trip that will see you shooting through tree runs, bowling through couloirs and flying down open powder fields.
Holiday price includes: 7 nights chalet board, chalet accommodation, single room, coach transfers, 5 days with instructors, Ski Club Leader
Lift price information: Lift pass guide: Adult 6 day Grand Massif lift pass for £210 and senior £200

Sunday is a warm up day/free ski day where you get the chance to explore the resort, test your kit (and your legs!) and make sure you are all set for the days ahead. You’ll then spend five full days with the instructors developing your skills and confidence moving to more and more challenging terrain and slopes as you progress. We would expect two or three groups on this holiday and you will be split in to groups based on off piste ability and fitness.

At the heart of the Grand Massif, Flaine has fantastic, vast and varied terrain for skiers of all levels. As a resort built because of its majestic mountains and generous dumps of snow, Flaine benefits from one of the best snowfalls across the Alps, with an average of almost six metres a year. With its runs being predominantly north-facing, the resort is renowned for maintaining fantastic snow throughout the season.

The resort itself is functional rather than attractive but offers decent shops and services and a couple of bars. The chalets are based up in the colourful Scandinavian-style development, Les Chalets du Hameau, a few minutes drive from the main resort. In the Hameau itself there is a bar/restaurant L'Ancolie which also has a small shop with some local products. There is a free transport to and from the main resort until midnight and in good conditions you can also ski down to the meeting point in the mornings.

Seven nights chalet board in one of our two chalets situated side by side up in Hameau de Flaine. Chalet board is breakfast, afternoon tea and a three course evening meal with wine on six nights. On the chalet host night off, the Ski Club Leader will organise a meal out for the group - payable locally. For more information about our chalets, please click here
