Take your first steps into the world of off piste skiing in the capable hand of Ski Club Reps and local instructors. The team have been skiing here off piste every day each winter for years and know exactly where to find the best snow at any time.
ON SNOW EXPERIENCE
You will start the week with an exploratory warm-up day to get your ski legs working again. Following this are five full days of tuition from some of the best instructors in the Alps, who aim to teach, guide, improve and entertain you!
This trip includes five full days with Instructors. You’ll be split into groups of 6/7 based on your ski profile. This trip is aimed at Aspirer (Red) and Intermediate (Silver) and off piste skiers. If you are unsure of your ski level, please see our Ski Profile Page. At the end of the week, you will receive an updated grading from your instructor or Ski Club Rep.
At the heart of the Grand Massif, Flaine has fantastic, vast and varied terrain for skiers of all levels. As a resort built because of the majestic mountains and generous dumps of snow, Flaine benefits from one of the best snowfalls across the Alps, with an average of almost six metres a year. With its runs being predominantly north-facing, the resort is renowned for maintaining fantastic snow throughout the season. For more information on Flaine, please visit the Flaine Resort Page.
If you require ski hire, we have a good arrangement with Flaine Super Ski, who stock excellent all terrain skis for our groups. They are adjacent to the main lift station and as a Ski Club member you will get a 20% discount.
If you own your own ski touring equipment, then it may be worth taking this with you on your trip. If you do not own your own kit, then this can normally be easily rented in resort. However, please be aware of the cost of hiring this equipment in resort.
