Nestled at the very top of the Tarentaise valley lies Val d’Isère. This picturesque, high profile resort is particularly popular with our members, and it’s easy to see why. On and off the mountain the resort oozes class, from the new wi-fi equipped gondolas to the slope side restaurants. Every experience in this iconic resort is one of luxury.

However, if you think that means the on-snow experience will be a sedate one then think again. Modern lifts whisk you up to 3,400m where dependable snow cover is waiting for you. Linked with Tignes, the area is made up of over 300km of pistes, keeping even the most mile hungry skiers occupied for a whole season. The 10,000 hectares of off piste terrain and alluring snow record satisfies backcountry addicts. Easily accessible couloirs and hidden valleys allow you to escape the crowds in an instant, and although you may feel as though you are worlds away you’re never too far from the hotel and a refreshing, well-earnt drink.

Holiday price includes: 7 nights lodge board, twin share, return charter flights, coach transfers, 6 days with mountain guides/instructors, Ski Club Leader.
Lift price information: 6 day Espace Killy lift pass £187, if ordered by 5th December

Val d’Isère is made up of vast and varied off piste terrain just waiting to be explored. Instructors and mountain guides will safely lead you to wide open powder bowls and secret stashes in the trees over six days, improving your technique and skills as you go.

There's a reason more Brits come to Val d'Isere than any other ski resort - it is widely considered one of the world's best resorts in the world, offering that sought after balance of near unbeatable range of on snow terrain coupled with off snow experience and amenities that are hard to match, all nestled within a charming 17th century town.

Visitors return again and again for Val d'Isere's near unrivaled slopes not least of all experts who are attracted by the Olympic and World Cup runs, and more importantly the extent of the lift-served off-piste, which is among the most varied and snowsure in Europe. You don't have to be particularly adventurous to enjoy the resort, confident, mileage-hungry intermediates will come away equally satisfied.

This of course, is before you even consider the neighboring resort of Tignes, together making up the 300km of pistes that form the Espace Killy ski area. With the village sitting at 1850m, and upper slopes reaching as high as 3400m, it can also boast one of the best snow records in the Alps, with seasons stretching from November to May

You will be staying in the Skiworld’s The Lodge, situated just off the main street, you are close enough for convenience but secluded to ensure peace and quiet. The main lift station is 500m from the front door and the ski bus stops 200m away.
