Passo Tonale’s main slopes offer an incredible view over Presna and the links between Ponte di Legno allow for a myriad of opportunity for great views and terrain but, on this trip, we’re here for the Off Piste opportunity. With a mixture of instructed and ski club led days, you’ll have more than enough time to explore the vast off piste terrain this resort has to offer.
ON SNOW EXPERIENCE
Spend three days with a local instructor developing your off piste technique and three days with your ski club leader exploring the vast off piste terrain that the resort has to offer.
RESORT
Sat in the pass between Trentino and Lombardy; the resort is primarily spread along one road, with access all the way from the Presena glacier at 3000m right down to Pontedilegno and Temù at barely over 1000m, linked in recent years by new gondola connections. Most runs are on the sunny, south-facing side of the pass served largely by chairlifts and experts will love the 10km Sgualdrina Cantiere descending back to Tonale and the thrilling 1650km drop on the Pisgana. A cable car on the other side leads to a chair and drag-lifts on the high Presena glacier with guaranteed good snow and summer skiing.
