ON SNOW EXPERIENCE
You will spend three days with a local instructor developing your off piste technique and three days with your fellow Freshtrackers and Ski Club Rep exploring the vast and varying terrain that the resort has to offer. Groups will be organised based on ski level and this trip is aimed at Intermediate (Silver) and Advanced (Purple) off piste skiers. If you are unsure of your level please see our Ski Profile Page. At the end of the week you will receive an updated grading from your Instructor or Ski Club Rep.
You will be staying at the 3* Hotel Gardenia on a half board basis in twin share accommodation. There is a large buffet breakfast in the mornings, while the evening meal showcases traditional Italian cuisine and local wines. The wellness area is the perfect place to relax after a long day on the mountain and includes a sauna, Turkish bath and hot tub. The hotel is a short walk from the slopes but there is also a free ski bus service for hotel guests.
This holiday includes both your flights from London Heathrow to Milan Linate with British Airways and transfers to resort. Ski Carriage is payable at the airport only and cannot be pre-booked. Transfers to and from resort will take approximately 3 hours.
If these travel arrangements are not convenient you can organise your own travel and receive a nominal discount from the holiday cost. Furthermore if you can find alternative flights that coincide with our flight times then you can meet the group at Milan Linate airport and take our transfers to resorts. Flight schedules can be searched on www.skyscanner.net
Sat in the pass between Trentino and Lombardy; the resort is primarily spread along one road, with access all the way from the Presena glacier at 3000m right down to Ponte Di Legno and Temù at barely over 1000m, linked in recent years by new gondola connections. The main resort base sits at a lofty 1883m, which gives it one of the longest and most reliable ski seasons in the Alps. With over 60% of their slopes marked as red, Passo Tonale is perfect for keen intermediate skiers. For more information on Passo Tonale, please visit our Passo Tonale Resort Page.
If you need to hire equipment, we recommend Noleggio Delpero, located opposite the main ski school and bottom of the main lift station.
