The Pitztal valley is a quiet traditional valley and the focus these weeks is on the big mountain experience - rather than the nightlife. It is a very high, snow sure valley, that has provided excellent conditions, even in some testing winters.
The Pitztal valley is made up of several smaller resorts nestled below a magnificent glacier. The snow reliability, especially on the glacier, is unbeatable. The Pitztal region offers skiing from September through to May, making it one of the longest seasons in Europe.
You'll find incredible views by taking the Wildspitzbahn lift which zips you up to the Hinterer Burnnenkogel to an eye-watering 3440m. From there you can enjoy a coffee at the café’s high-altitude sun terrace.
