ON SNOW EXPERIENCE
Your first day on snow will be a warmup to help rediscover your ski legs, after which you’ll spend the next five days in the excellent and capable hands of one of the BASS (British Alpine Ski School) instructors. The BASS team are experts in their field and consistently receive great feedback from Ski Club members.
You’ll be skiing full days from 9am until the lifts close (of course broken up by a coffee break and a lunch stop), so be ready to give those legs a test and earn yourself a well-earned dip in the jacuzzi or a cold beer at the end of the ski day.
Groups will be organised based on the ski level you provide pre-trip, but note that there will be some manoeuvrability during the week if required. If you are unsure of your level, then please see our Ski Profile Page. At the end of the week you’ll receive an updated grading from your Instructor or Ski Club Rep – perfect for helping to plan your next Freshtracks trip.
Val Thorens is the highest resort in the vast Trois Vallées area and its 600km of slopes, with great access to the linked resorts of Courchevel, Méribel and Les Menuires. It is known for being exceptionally snowsure early in the season and the impressive lift system makes getting around the area quick and easy. Most of the terrain is ideally suited to intermediate skiers, but there are ample opportunities for beginners or experts alike.
