ON SNOW EXPERIENCE
This holiday is a great opportunity to explore this world-famous ski area in the capable hands of local mountain guides with six full days off piste. In particular, it's worth making the trip across to Lech and Zurs for a greater variety of slopes than are offered locally, as well as some fantastic off piste. You’ll be split into groups set to the standard of skiing and this trip is aimed at Advanced (Purple) and Expert (Gold) skiers. If you are unsure on your level please look at the Ski Profile Page.
RESORT
Rarely can you find a list of top ski resorts in the world that doesn't mention St Anton, and rightly so. It's especially suited to advanced and expert skiers, thanks to its huge range off challenging runs and legendary off piste, as well as those with the energy to après-ski as hard as they ski. The resort sits at the western extremity of the Tirol, at the foot of the road up to the Arlberg pass and thanks to the new Flexenbahn gondola, is linked by piste to Zürs on the Lech side. This means that the Ski Arlberg area isn’t only the largest interconnected ski area in Austria, with 305km of slopes and 87 lifts (not forgetting the 200km of off piste), but it also enters the top 10 largest in the world.
