They say

It’s designed to give advanced skiers an agile, smooth skiing ride to ski the slopes all day without fatigue.

We say

Typically of Volkl, the Flair is an absolute blast on the piste, it feels incredibly stable for an all mountain ski, and is some ways would surpass many more specialized piste performance skis. Levels of grip are massive and it is consistently solid and strong throughout the whole arc. Surprisingly, for this stellar performance on the piste, it’s actually really playful and fun in the deep stuff as well, for sure most skiers would prefer a wider platform, but the flex and profile do help to make it good fun in these conditions.

Strengths

Amazing on the piste, strong and grippy, yet still great in backcountry conditions.

Weaknesses

More width would help in powder.

Testers comments

I like this ski! Off piste is really easy, just stand on them, while on piste they feel fun and confident. (Tessera Swallow)

Good on piste, felt stable at speed, comfortable in all turn shapes. (Natasha Edwards)
