The Ember takes its construction from the new Warrant model and has a 3D sandwich construction and a wide, soft-flexing tip to help for all-mountain skiing. One of its most noticeable features is the large turn-radius which obviously helps in longer turns. It has a strong ‘cruisy’ feel. Matched with the relatively stiff flex, it’s comfortable blasting through chopped-up conditions. It got a really mixed reaction from our testers though - it felt stable at speed, but sometimes unpredictable in the turn-shape.

Tester Comments

Betony Garner
In chopped-up snow off piste, it cut through well, and was surprisingly solid on piste
JoJo O Brien
Stable at speed, but harder to judge the turn in variable off-piste conditions
