We say

The new Viva takes the oil dampener and booster plate from the heavy duty performance skis and moves them into the women’s version, this is a ski focused on fast technical skiers. The sidecut on the Viva feels very reactive, carving out grippy tight arcs as soon as it is tilted onto its edge. It has a similar character to a slalom ski in that it feels locked down into one type of turn radius, ready to take on any hard snow with ease. It’s not so easy to adjust the turn shape, and really suits aggressive fast skiers. As with many of the Blizzard skis we tested this year, it feels like a high quality, well constructed product.

Amanda Pirie
Felt like a detuned slalom ski, loved to turn, easy to carve but not easy to vary the turn shape
Betony Garner
Zippy, great in short turns, race like graphics
