We say

The Rictor uses K2’s all terrain rocker which gives moderate tip rise while having traditional camber underfoot, this should allow the ski to be easy to handle in deeper conditions while having the punch to deliver on the groomed runs. The overriding sensation from this ski is its smooth ride, the dampening is brilliant allowing the Rictor to ride over hard terrain with ease. On the edge it gives out strong levels of edge hold, feeling solid and dependable in long fast turns. In shorter turns it feels less agile and lacks some energy, but overall it’s a great ski for high speed blasting on groomed runs and chopped up powder.

Tester Comments

Mark Jones
Silky smooth, really well judged shape, great for smearing into the turn
Pete Davison
Fairly wide underfoot so a good option for softer snow, stable at speed but lacks life in shorter turns
