The Sevun has got a new topsheet while the shape of the ski has been altered. It now uses the ‘Single Beak Shape’ which uses a classic camber combined with a progressive rocker tip. Like all of the Black Crows that we tested this feels like a quality product. The look and finish of the ski is superb. On the move it feels stable, powerful and with a smooth ride. It’s the sort of ski that gives you confidence to ramp it up to higher speeds. On the edge it continues to emanate strength with plenty of grip available while pouring out lovely smooth arcs. It feels quite heavy underfoot, so for slower speeds it can feel hard work and is definitely better suited to heavier, stronger skiers.
