They say

The new Dakota uses the latest Flip Core technology that has been so effective in the award winning Cochise. It also uses a double titanium layer together with a bamboo core to give lightweight and strength.

We say

The Dakota felt very sturdy underfoot and made fast turns through chopped up snow an absolute blast. The subtle rocker does a great job of helping ride and steer through deeper conditions without being too obtrusive and spinning the ski out. The ride is exceptionally smooth, for driving through crud and variable conditions it’s a great ski. Some testers thought it was almost too damped, which took some energy out of the turn, but overall another awesome ski from Blizzard.

Tester Comments

Lynn Mill
Not the widest ski underfoot but felt like a fat ski due to its great stability. Soared through the bumpy powder very comfortably
Rowena Phillips
Strong underfoot motors through fast, big turns
