With an impressive new topsheet, the Koa continues to use progressive rocker through the tip matched with a sandwich construction and carbon reinforcement. With its narrow shape, it was good fun on groomed runs: notably quick to react, carving tight, grippy arcs.  At high speeds it starts to lose some stability, but at most skiers’ pace it works well. Its quite soft flex and rockered tip help make it easy to use and playful in deeper conditions. For really deep snow it would need a wider platform for extra float - but for a mix of on and off piste, it’s a good choice.
