Taking over from last year’s Prophets, the Influence uses a metal matrix construction embedded into the wood core to give plenty of power and responsiveness. With 105mm underfoot, it’s designed for backcountry riding, but with the ability to carve on piste. The Influence continues with the Line trait of immediately feeling on your side: it’s easy to steer, it can almost always get you out of tricky situations, and its light weight makes it feel effortless to manoeuvre. But the width makes it feel more suited to big open faces - and it seems most comfortable when making large arcs at speed.
