They say

The AR7 is Armada’s flagship park ski. It has an 86mm waist width and a solid construction using a full wood core with a laminate matrix. This makes it an ideal all-mountain ski which also has the potential to deliver in the park.

We say

Despite its twin-tip looks, the AR7 is seriously strong on the edge. It feels grippy underfoot, and is surprisingly powerful for long, fast turns. In fact for high-speed blasting on the piste the AR7 feels in its element, its beefy construction making itself felt. That strength also translates into quite a stiff flex. Match that with zero rocker and it’s a ski that’s not as easy to use in the powder as its twintip looks would suggest. Fast, powerful skiers will be fine, but for slower speed manoeuvring in the deep it needs some physical strength.

Tester Comments

Chris Taine
Really capable when stepping on the gas and letting the skis run. In their element in a GS turn shape.
Pete Davison
Very direct and strong on the edge, but the lack of sidecut makes them less reactive.
