They say

The new Blackeye has had a complete revamp like the rest of the Nomad range, with new core constructions, sidecuts and technology. The main change is the ARC technology which concentrates all your force in one spot to allow the ski to flex freely.

We say

On the groomed runs the Blackeye loves making big, fast turns. Grip is strong and it feels locked into the turn. Stability is rock solid at speed, and for blasting the pistes it’s a great ski. In long turns they’re brilliant, feeling as though there are no limits to edge-hold. In short turns they were not so responsive, needing to be worked a lot harder. In deeper snow they work quite well, but would need more width and rebound to be really effective. Overall, a great ski for fast, big turns on the piste.

Tester Comments

Alyn Morgan
They deliver good grip on piste but can feel a bit dead underfoot.
Pete Davison
They like to be parked on the edge and ridden hard in GS turns.
