They say

The Magnum has a new topsheet but continues to use Blizzard’s Flipcore 3D rocker profile in which the internal construction has a natural bend, rather than being forced into shape. This allows for a smoother, more sensitive ride

We say

Another ski which immediately feels easy to use, the Magnum is light and lively and full of energy for carving. Particularly in short-to-medium-length turns, it produces high levels of edge-hold, yet is still easy to adjust while moving through the turn. The rockered, soft nose still feels forgiving to steer in chopped-up powder and crud, although a wider waist would help. Overall, a lively, fun all-mountain ski and a superb choice for aspiring skiers.

Tester Comments

Alyn Morgan
Gives a smooth flex throughout the ski and is light enough to work well off piste.
Pete Davison
Torsionally rock solid which makes them firm underfoot and hold a great edge.
