They say

This all-mountain addition to the Viva range by Blizzard is quite narrow at 77mm underfoot, but a rockered tip helps with turn-initiation, while a wood core with titanium reinforcement gives the Viva added strength.

We say

On the groomed runs the Viva feels stable and grippy. Long turns feel like its preferred turn-shape, and it arcs out carved lines with ease. In shorter turns, that relatively narrow waist makes them feel quick from edge to edge. Away from the piste, the Vivas didn’t feel so much at home, with less of the life and energy that allowed them to work so well on the piste. Anything less than 80mm underfoot is always going to be a struggle to supply the flotation needed in powder. However, for all-round piste performance, it’s a great choice.

Tester Comments

Rowena Phillips
Relatively stable in edgy turns on the piste. Felt a little empty off piste.
