They say

The Cham 127 has a really striking shape derived from its-five point sidecut and matched with a long tip rocker and a flat pintail. The construction is very strong, using a wood core sandwich with vertical sidewalls.

We say

There’s no question this is a classic for hard charging big-mountain skiers. It feels big, heavy, and ready to take on some speed. It really seems at home making fast, big turns on open slopes. In these conditions it feels very stable, giving riders confidence to push their limits on speed and line. The pintail also makes itself felt, making it easy to smear out of the turn and control speed. Because it’s a heavy, stiff ski it feels somewhat restricted at lower speeds and more cautious skiers could feel intimidated it. But for fast, confident riders in deep powder, it’s brilliant.

Tester Comments

Pete Davison
They love to go flat out in the deep! The width and weight of the ski make them challenging, but they really come into their own at high speeds
Derek Chandler
A heavy, stiff ski, which is unsuitable for anything other than full-on charging
