They say

The Outland is designed for strong skiers who need a powerful all-mountain ski. It continues to use a progressive rocker through the nose combined with a wood core and the ‘Fluid’ binding interface.

We say

The Outland is quick and nimble from edge to edge. It’s a ski that immediately feels full of energy. Turn initiation is totally effortless, the smooth, rockered nose doing a remarkable job of making it easy to pivot - but still having the ability to engage with the surface when it’s tilted over. The relationship between the curve of the nose and the traditional camber underfoot is perfectly judged. The relatively soft flex works well in deeper conditions, but strong skiers would probably want a stiffer flex to get some extra punch on hard snow. Overall, a well judged, very capable all-mountain ski.

Tester Comments

Alyn Morgan
A forgiving all-mountain ski. Soft wide nose is easy to engage into the turn.
Chris Taine
A sprightly ski that wants to make turns. Delightful in the bumps, it has a spring in its step and loves to play.
