They say

The MYA No 7 is designed as a no-compromise piste ski for strong carving skiers. It features a narrow 66mm waist, Worldcup construction and uses KERS technology, which releases energy as you exit from the turn.

We say

The No 7 is a very different prospect from the sister models either side of it. It’s a ski very much dedicated to performance. Its defining characteristic is that it’s so damped down that there’s minimal vibration and a feeling that it can cope with higher speeds with ease. The turn-shape that suits its sidecut can offer high levels of grip, making it supremely quick from edge to edge. If anything, the ski is too locked down, with a lack of rebound to give it energy and life.

Tester Comments

Lynn Mill
Great for high-speed long turns in a narrow corridor, but quite stiff and hard to ski in anything different.
