They say

The new Rictor comes with a wider chassis and a new ‘X’ plate through the shovel and tail to increase torsional stiffness. It also uses extra titanal reinforcement to give energy and grip through the turn. The Rictor retains that classic K2 feeling - offering a smooth ride while being super stable. This gives the skier a great deal of confidence in trusting its abilities and allowing the Rictor to get on with the job.

We say

Its main strength is in long, fast turns. Particularly on the piste, it feels fast, powerful and grippy. In deeper conditions the wider shape gives it a little extra float. As an all-mountain ski it works well, although skiers who love the powder would be better served by the 90mm version.

Tester Comments

Derek Chandler
Solid ski. On piste performed well. Off piste it was easily workable compared with other sub 90mm skis.
Pete Davison
Stable in long turns on the piste. Great damping makes them smooth at speed.
