They say

A new ski from K2 which continues from last year's Seth. But it uses a new tip profile to make it more predictable in erratic snow conditions - and a powder rocker profile with a reinforced wood core.

We say

K2 has been doing this sort of thing for a long time and it shows. It’s a very well rounded, solid, enjoyable ski that’s well designed for its environment. It feels relatively light underfoot for such a big ski, and is matched with the rockered shape to make a ski that feels easy to use and infinitely adjustable tearing through the trees. It’s also very stable, and that wide surface area gives a great platform to pump up the speed and feel confident when going for it on big, open faces. The Seth gives a brilliant all-round performance for a large range of backcountry riders.

Tester Comments

Alyn Morgan
Again, K2 delivers the goods for off-piste fans. Light and nimble - and with a touring binding it would be a great option.
Derek Chandler
Like all the K2s, it was a solid, enjoyable, workable ski
