They say

The Kart series from Salomon takes its inspiration from slalom sidecuts and levels of performance while adding rocker to give a great level of adjustability into and through the turn. The W Kart uses a wood core with magnesium damping system.

We say

This is a really playful ski that immediately feels very reactive as soon as you go for the first turn. The sidecut is eager to move into the new turn and every time the edge connects with the snow there’s a positive reaction. It’s also an easy ski to use, feeling light and taking minimal effort to move into the turn. For its light weight and easy playfulness it was surprising how much stability the W Kart had - once on the edge it feels rock solid. Overall, a hard ski to fault, although the graphics weren’t to everyone’s taste!

Carves really strongly and is very stable.

Easy breezy! Most definitely not beautiful - however this ugly duckling is reliable, powerful and slick.
