They say

The Allura is part of the Essenza range. These are all lightweight, with a waist further aft and a reduced ramp angle - all features focused on helping match women’s morphology. In this range, the Allura is more piste orientated, with 75mm underfoot.

We say

It felt as though it was skiing on auto-pilot! Once tilted onto the edge the sidecut really takes over, and powers the ski through the curve. It feels very smooth from edge to edge and matches with very high levels of grip at high speeds. It feels quite stiff in the tail, which gives it plenty of acceleration when powering out of the turn. It’s a strong ski that can be relied on to deliver when pushed. Essentially, if you set the ski up in the right way, it will hold on, even at high speeds on hard snow.

Tester Comments

Lynn Mill
A sturdy ski with a strong tail, so it will kick right through to the end of the turn.
