Armada VJJ - 2015

The VJJ was inspired by the men's JJ and uses a blend of rocker and positive camber underfoot, the Hybrid Ultralight core uses light wood which has a really high strength to weight ratio.

This is another big ski which is obviously totally focused on powder performance, with 115mm underfoot there is masses of float and its rocker profile surfs up immediately. Making big, fast turns in these conditions it is completely in its element feeling stable and supportive through the turn while still having the ability to redirect and adjust if necessary. On steep terrain it feels solid, stable and confidence inspiring. On the piste because of its width and profile it feels flappy, cumbersome and fairly limited, however for big mountain riding, it's awesome.
