They say

The completely revamped 117 is now 10% stiffer and has camber under the foot for better performance on hard snow. It continues to use Titanium power Sprockets and a rocker profile through the shovel.

We say

A stand out ski last year, the Automatic continues to be a very impressive ski. It definitely suits hard charging riders who need good stability and confidence in a ski at high speeds. It feels rock solid when really pushing on, it locks into the line nicely but the profile still allows quick pivoting when you want it. It smashes through the crud and chop with no effort, if you’re going hard and fast, it’s the ski to grab first! The only downside is that at slower speeds and for quicker manoeuvres its harder work, but strong powerful skiers will love it.

Tester Comments

Chris Taine
These are hard charging planks that come into their own at high speeds on wide open terrain. Although quite a heavy ski, they’re nicely balanced and very stable.
Mark Jones
A solid choice for strong skiers, gives you loads of confidence at speed
