They say

The Crimson is the widest model in Atomic’s Nomad series. It uses a woodcore, stepdown sidewalls and uses ARC technology which uses just one mounting point on the ski, this allows it flex easily and naturally.

We say

This is a beefy ski that was a solid performer in everything we threw at it. It feels dependable and trustworthy in all types of conditions, the width and sidecut arcing out really nice medium to long arcs, while in short turns it still feels nimble enough to move relatively quickly from edge to edge. The flex and rockered shovel does a great job of giving easy lift and playfulness in deeper conditions, and helps to make it feel like an all mountain ski that could genuinely cope with a day in the deep stuff. Overall, this was a hard ski to fault, some testers would have preferred more energy coming out of the turns, but it’s a rock solid all mountain choice.
