They say

All new for this winter, the Viva features a traditional camber with early rise tip. It also uses Blizzard’s integrated IQ binding system, a women’s specific core, flex pattern and sidecut.

We say

This is a serious piece of kit for the groomers! The Viva is very strong, supportive and grippy when it comes to high speed carving, it feels very much like a ski that has been focused purely on hardpack skiing, its quick edge to edge, has a smooth stable ride at speed and seems to take on high speeds and big edge angles with ease. In deeper off piste conditions that beefy construction and focused performance works against it and makes the Viva more of a tricky customer to handle, lacking in float and maneuverability. Overall this is a great ski, but is definitely more suited to high speed carving.

Tester Comments

Lynn Mill
Fab fun on the piste, really stable and gives back what you put into it.
Tessera Swallow
Great for high performance on the piste, but quite heavy and hard to handle in the off-piste.
