They say

The all new Motive uses Air Tec to reduce weight which is then reinforced with a titanium layer to maintain high performance. It combines this with a classic sidewall construction.

We say

This is another ski where the lighter weight is very noticeable, this can make a big difference for first impressions, where that lack of weight makes the ski easy to handle and just initially feels user friendly the instant you snap into them and ride. They grip well in long and short turns and have an ample performance breadth for most skiers; however expert riders will probably prefer something stronger at higher speeds. The Motive is forgiving, versatile and playful, it always feels on your side because of its ability to change direction or make instant adjustments. This carries on away from the piste where the lightweight and rockered shape make it easy to use in cruddy conditions.

Tester Comments

Chris Taine
A lightweight, forgiving and playful ski that well suit aspiring all mountain skiers. Not the burliest ski in the lineup, but what it lacks in grunt it makes for with ease of use.
James Allen
Easy to manoeuver light and loose on the transition.
