They say

The Charger uses K2’s new ROX technology which puts a carbon wrap around the shovel of the ski to create greater torsional strength with minimal added weight, it also uses a hybrid sidewall to give strong grip, while still being easy to use.

We say

Like many K2’s the charger has a fantastic dampening system, it feels absolutely vibration free, even on rock hard pistes. Matched up to this is a lovely, smooth flex pattern that feels supremely balanced as you arc out through the turn. The ski feels quite driven by the shovel, which engages perfectly when its tipped onto the edge, however that shovel has a nicely judged rocker which also makes it easy to adjust through the arc and initiate the turn. Overall, this is a brilliant ski which is hard to fault, that smooth ride can sometimes make the ski feel less lively in short turns than others, but otherwise it’s a great choice for piste performance.
