They say

Using the Rictor chassis, the new 82 TXi uses ROX technology which puts a carbon wrap around key parts of the ski to give greater edge hold and response.

We say

As in previous years, the Rictor manages to maintain that legendary K2 dampening. This ski is super smooth and gives one of the most vibration free rides out there. It rolls onto the edge beautifully and delivers a grippy round arc, really feeling in its element in long fast turns where it’s absolutely rock solid and can handle big speeds. In deeper conditions the rockered nose and smooth ride allows it to blast out big arcs with ease while being easy to redirect. At slower speeds and in shorter turns it can feel less reactive and a bit cumbersome, but overall it’s a fantastic all mountain ski.

Mark Jones
Smooth and fast, brilliant fun for big turns on the groomed runs, great for high speed blasting in the crud.
Derek Chandler
Good, dependable, useable and enjoyable ski. Smooth and solid at high speed.
