They say

With a new graphic and a reworking of the flex pattern the Annex is set up to perform in all conditions and terrain. It uses a ‘Hybritech Sidewall’ which uses a traditional sidewall construction almost the entire length of the ski or board, then it tapers to a cap for a lighter swing weight but still all the benefits of a sidewall construction.

We say

This is another fantastic freeride ski. It feels immediately very playful, easy to use and with a great surfy character. This is backed up with a solid platform underfoot which gives good edge hold on the piste and in harder conditions for longer turns. In the powder the early rise tip works well and gives instant, quick float and a very smooth ride, it also has the ability to smear off speed in the blink of an eye. It’s a hard ski to find fault with, some testers wanted a bit more responsiveness through the end of the turn, but overall this is a truly brilliant freeride ski that can deal with any conditions or terrain.

Great solid ski, but playful to use.
James Allen
What an awesome ski! Very easy in short turns on the piste and they grip really well. The early rise tip makes them really smooth in the powder and easy to wash off speed.
