They say

The Remedy is K2’s women’s answer to the Shredditor 102. It uses a light wood core by combining 80% dense Aspen core underfoot while using 20% lightweight Paulowinia at the tip and tail. The full length of the ski has bamboo blended into the construction for easy swingweight.

We say

K2 has designed this ski to be a fun manoeuvrable ski, rather than a real hard charger. This shows in the performance on the test where the Remedy was incredibly easy to use, particularly in cruddy, chopped up conditions. That width underfoot also gives a great platform for deep powder, which combined with the rocker profile makes the Remedy an easy to use, fun ski for deep conditions. On the piste the width and lighter construction makes itself felt where it struggles to hold good edge grip at speed and generally feels more out of place.

Tester Comments

Lynn Mill
Quite easy to manoeuvre around the mountain, they look really cool! Shape feels a bit unpredictable on piste.
Steph Ede
Playful in the crud and good fun in shorts, not great on piste.
