They say

The Jam uses a small amount of Rocker through the nose and then matches it up with a wood core which has a stronger wood rail along the sidewalls for extra grip.

We say

This is a no nonsense all mountain charger, the Jam immediately feels powerful on the piste. It has high levels of edge grip with a very strong tail which really accelerates you out of the turn. It manages to deliver this strong performance in all turn shapes; generally this is a strong, fast piste ski which would suit expert skiers. In deeper conditions it manages to be playful enough to smear and adjust as needed, although it can sometimes feel a bit mismatched between the tip and tail, with the tail taking charge through the exit of the turn. Overall, this is a powerful all mountain ski which would suit fast, strong riders.

Tester Comments

Al Morgan
Good for short and long turns on the piste. It’s not that easy a ski to use, but if you can manage it, there’s no better ski out there.
Chris Taine
Powerful ski, solid construction, can drift and smear like a freeride ski.
